Is it attainable to live on a beach in New York City without going broke? Sharon Lew has proven so. Sharon grew up near the water on Long Island, but spent most of her adult life in Manhattan while having a beach house in Fire Island, New York. In an attempt to be on the ocean, near Manhattan, and without debt, she sold her Fire Island home and purchased a fixer-upper apartment in Rockaway, Queens. She loves hearing the sound of the surf and the security of having low monthly costs. Sharon Lew was born and raised in Islip, Long Island, New York. She attended college early starting with the State University of New York at New Paltz and graduated from New York University. Sharon is not yet retired - she has her own Talent Management Agency, Lew & Co. Inc. She represents Filmmakers for TV Commercial work. Basically, she’s worked in advertising and commercial production her entire career. Her company has a proven track record for launching many successful start-up production and post-production companies. Throughout her career she has been called upon as executive producer, consultant, new business rep and recruiter. She’s represented young filmmakers and nurtured them throughout their careers. While also developing many notable award winning directors along the way. Lew & Co. has represented top tier feature directors and photographers including Quentin Tarantino, Mark Seliger, John Woo, Mark Story, Robert Rodriguez, Christopher Guest, Mark Pellington, Jesse Peretz, Sandro Miller to name a few.
Sharon lived in Manhattan for over 35 years, has 2 daughters, loves beaches and has a newfound passion: home renovation!
